Home Server
- At home, I run a custom Ubuntu server. It started as a simple virtual machine I prepared specifically for imaging a small Intel NUC. Currently, it hosts a server, Webmin, and Pi-Hole.
- Webmin is a web-based interface that simplifies the management of Linux systems, including configuring operating system internals and updating packages.
- Pi-Hole allows me to block ads and trackers across all devices on the network. It acts as a DNS proxy, filtering out unwanted content before it reaches the devices.
- The server also enables multiplayer gaming by managing server configurations, plugins, CLI, and performing server maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and troubleshooting.
